This complements the existing preset system-generated voice options available through the digital assistant, which can handle tasks such as answering calls, screening unknown numbers, taking messages, responding on behalf of the user, and recording calls.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"17:1-17:225\">To activate this feature, Truecaller users simply need to record a brief script in their own voice after granting consent. Subsequently, the Assistant can commence answering calls with the digital version of the user\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"19:1-19:358\">While Truecaller\u2019s Assistant typically allows users to modify the introductory greeting template for callers, the company has confirmed to TechCrunch that this option is restricted when using the personal voice instead of a system-generated one. This measure ensures callers are aware they are interacting with a \u201cdigital\u201d representation of the user\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"21:1-21:34\">However, users can still customize follow-up responses based on their preferences. Additionally, Azure AI Speech\u2019s personal voice feature, currently in limited registration-only access, incorporates watermarks into generated speech outputs for detection by a specialized tool, identifying synthetic audio.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"23:1-23:498\">Raphael Mimoun, product director and general manager of Truecaller Israel, expressed confidence in the personal voice feature revolutionizing call management for users, stating, \u201cWe firmly believe that the personal voice feature will revolutionize the way our users manage their calls and elevate their overall experience with Truecaller Assistant.
